Delco Turkey Trot 2023

The Delco Turkey Trot™—the BIGGEST Thanksgiving Day 5k in Delaware County— is kicking off its 7th year on Thanksgiving morning: November 23rd, 2023. This race benefits the Nether Providence Elementary School PTO in Wallingford, PA and all proceeds go right back to the students at NPE. 

This year we will have both an in person and virtual option for the 5k Road Race and the 1 Mile Little Drumstick Run.  There is an option to mail (with postage fee) your medal and t-shirt for virtual runners and walkers who are far away, so make sure to share with friends and family members who may not be local.  This is a family friendly event and strollers are WELCOMED.  Please no pets on the course.

Date - Thursday, November 23  - Little Drumstick @ 8:30am & 5K Road Race @ 9 am . For the virtual option, run anytime between 11/22 and 11/30.

Pricing: 8/14 - 9/30: Adults 13 and over - $25, Kids 12 and under - $15
             10/1 - 10/31: Adults 13 and over - $30, Kids 12 and under - $15
             11/1 - 11/23: Adults 13 and over - $35, Kids 12 and under $20

**Please be aware there are NO REFUNDS and the race will take place rain or shine.  Registrants who can no longer attend the live race can switch to the virtual option.**

Racejoy APP - is a GPS-based tracking app that follows your progress in real-time as you run your race. Receive progress alerts for yourself and others as you cross milestones along normal Turkey Trot course. Typically, alerts are sent at EVERY MILE, including location, pace, elapsed time and estimated finish time. Your family and friends can send motivational, pre-recorded audio cheer clips or personalized Text-to-Cheer messages to race participants leading up to, during, and after the race. Your results will be automatically submitted to the race.

Importmant Race Information

The Little Drumstick 1 Mile Run will begin promptly at 8:30am and the 5k Turkey Trot will begin promptly at 9am .  PLEASE PLAN accordingly with parking and picking up your bibs so you don't miss the start!

Race Bib Pick-up 

We HIGHLY advise you to pick up your bibs before the day of the race.  Join us at one of the following locations! 

Wednesday 11/22 11am-1pm @ Bryn Mawr Running Company Media, PA * 1 W Front St, Media, PA 19063 *

Wednesday 11/22 5pm-7pm @ Ducklings Early Learning Center- Wallingford  * 3 Moore Rd. Wallingford, PA 19063 *

Day of Pickup:

Arrive between 7:30am and 8:15am to pick up bibs and for Same Day Registration.   

RACE PARKING INFORMATION

Please arrive via Media Parkway or Georgetown Rd. as Moore Rd. will be barricaded for the race.
Parking will be limited at the school.  Limited overflow parking is available at Creekside Swim Club located half a block before the school on Moore Rd.
Parking on the street in non-race course areas is fine, but PLEASE be respectful of our neighbors.  No parking on grass or in front of driveways.
Carpool, walk, or be dropped off if possible!
